While thinking of a way to make our terrace summer proof, I remembered my CANDLE TREE of 2 years ago. As I very much enjoyed the colourful burning lights during summer nights, I´d like to share this DIY with you.
This week, it’s officially crocus holidays in The Netherlands. For some people this means: Last chance to go skiing! To others -like me, it means: Winter is almost over, go prepare for spring! So, while I am cooking pea soup for the last time this season, I am cleaning the house like crazy and looking forward to a new season. Sunshine, flowers, and drinking coffee on our terrace.
Next pictures – from some of my favorite blogs- will probably help you getting in the right spring mood!

One of the enjoyable things of living abroad for a while, is getting in touch with new styles. Don’t get me wrong, I do love the Scandinavian style a lot of Dutch interiors have these days… but, getting influenced by the mediterranean south is not that bad. I bet these colourful spanish designs would look great on each of our northern terraces and balconies. Stunning summer guaranteed!
